Paralyzed Hen/Mareks?

Quote:
Not all birds are effected the same. It usually starts in a leg, but can start in the wings or neck. The vaccine prevets the type of Marek's that causes paralysis. There is another type that effects the eyes. When it starts in the legs (more often the left than the right for some reason) the leg can be completely or partially parayzed. When it is completely paralyzed, the leg often sticks straight out behind or to the side, and they try to move themselves along by using their wings and the other leg.

oh I see, I have never used a needle is there a special size for a chick I would be afraid of putting it in at the wrong place, too deep or not far enough

I have read how easily transmissable it is. So I am wondering if you buy hatching eggs from someone and they had Mareks would it be able to be transmitted through the mail ? Like on the Outside of the eggs?
