Paralyzed hen?

Wolf spiders,
garden spiders, (harmless to humans, not sure about chickens)
fishing spiders,
and Brown Recluse are some I know off the top of my head...

I had the exact same thing happen to one of my hens, too. It was only the one hen and unfortunately, she didn't make it through. I'm glad to hear that yours sounds like she's recovering though!

This is very strange. I came on specifically because I have a 6 week old chick that is doing this. So does my sister, and we live 200 miles apart, and these are diff breeds of chickens, any ideas???

I hope she can make a full recovery from this. I just let her out to free range a little. She ate a few worms then her legs collapsed.
