Paralyzed leg through injury

I have a 2 month old hen that has a broken leg, and I believe it is paralyzed. When you touch the leg it doesn't move, it's just sort of limp. One of my chickens was caught and ate by something, and this chicken was injured. :( I have her in a cage to herself with food and water, and she is now able to hop around on one foot. Is this ok? This is my first time keeping chickens, and I don't know what to do. There are no local vets that will look at a chicken here. I have called around and none will see her. Is it ok to live her life like this? Will she be ok? Will she be miserable and unable to do anything but hop a few feet? Would it be more humane to put her down?

Some chickens can get around after the loss of a foot or leg, so I would see how she does, and let her tell you if she can survive. You make want to force her to rest the leg in a cage with food and water for a week or two, or try her in a chicken sling in case her leg is broken or badly sprained. A vet may be of help with an xray if it is possible. Sorry about your loss.

Align the bone and tape it at the break to provide stability, promote healing, and prevent re-injury. Take care that the wrap is not too tight and change it as needed. She may only be letting her foot dangle because it is painful to move it. I had a goose who did this and I thought for sure he was never going to walk again, but he healed up just fine :)
