How to Find a Fox den?

We've lost aroun 15-20 chickens rom the ox alreay. An i oun mysel getting closer to the en, it seems like. I've been trying to in the en because we've spent alot o money on chickens alreay, an we got them a run. But, i was wonering i Anyone has any Tips to in a en. I know they like to ig uner Trees an those kin o things, Thank You!

Rather than hunt for the fox, might it not make more sense to secure your chickens? Is electric fencing a possibility? I have not seen @cmom on for some time, but she certainly protected her large numbers of chickens from foxes, coyotes, raccoons and other predators with electric fencing and posted pics from her cameras to prove it.

I honestly want to o that, we are going to get some hot wire. But, we also go on vacation or so many ays an quite oten. An i run a egg business an sell to aroun 3-4 customers, per week or every other week. An we're only getting 2-4 eggs per ay, an i can't keep up :\ Thats why we pretty much have to hunt the ox (we were also going to get netting or the top). But, we are just gone too much

Being gone all the time doesn't work when you don't have secure pens for your chickens. You can't run a egg business without chickens.Foxes are smart and know when you're gone.It only takes the power to go out for the fox to get back in.You can't just rely on an electric fence

Serious question: How old are you?
I'm guessing quite a bit younger than me, so this is my advice:
Talk to your folks and let them know how you feel about what's happening with the flock.
Ask them to help you in making it more secure.
Some things take time, hang in there.

Foxes don't stop hunting chickens just because the dens disturbed. They'll hunt your chickens until you have none left.They can have multiple dens close by and can move the kits anytime. This is why everyone's concerned about your chickens.They will be back
