My mom told me of a story when she was a teenager, she was walking in a marshy field on the tundra in Alaska in the summer time, and she said she liked to go out there and lay in the sun and she would get not tan, but get freckles. A girlfriend of hers was already there, and she was with small beings that were floating above the ground, my mom said the beings were dirty looking and had a smell about them that would make you sick, her friend said "isn't this neat?" and then the next thing my mom knew she woke up in a field about a mile away, and had missing time space. Not remembering how she got to the other field, or what happened during the missing time.

It's fine, scary is allowed. One reason I placed an age limit. ;)
 
I can't think of a good paranormal story right now...well actually...I'll save that one for later. Not super creepy though. I may have shared it before, a long time ago.

I did have some friends though, ages 13 and 16 Who were all alone in their house and they heard footsteps coming down their attic stairs. They were positive it was footsteps but no one was there. They started crying and ran out of the house, lol
 
when i moved into my first house it had a tiny door upstairs in the bedroom that whent out to a filthy dark crawl space full of creepy junk

Anyway one day i threw some boxes in the crawl space, the door just had a simple turn latch like this

it was a little stiff to shut but i shut it and latched it, i turned, walked accross the room and the little door burst open, swung and hit the wall with a bang, i mustve missed the first 6 stairs and i ran outside. My heart was pounding it was primal fear.

i snuck back up and looked around the corner, the door was open i wasnt imagining things! i wished i had of been at the time

i walked over and looked in, i was sweating and almost shaking. Turns out a bottle cap was jammed in the door jam so when i shut the door there was pressure pushing the door out, the thin rusty nailed just popped out of the latch and thats what caused the door to open 🤪 Thank god!
