I wanted to mention a few more, but this is serendipity rather than spooky. When my husband was a young boy people asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said "i know I cannot be but what I would really like to be is a gorilla." Since he liked gorillas his mom made him a gorilla costume. He had a vacation house on an island I lived on in WA and one day there was a scotchbroom parade they had every year when it bloomed. I borrowed a gorilla mask from a friend, and was walking in the parade when someone said "Here comes another gorilla." And a boy on a bicycle rode by and said, "you are a gorilla too." Then kept going. Years later I saw the movie "Serendipity" and thought if that was true, I would have married the boy on the bike. Then when I was married about 15 years, I was looking at a photo album at his mom's house, and saw a pic of a boy on a bike wearing a gorilla suit. "Were you in the scotch broom parade wearing your gorilla suit on your bike and remember another gorilla in the parade?" He said yes, I said "I was the other gorilla." He said "oh you were standing by Henderson's that department store" And I had been. So that was neat...
How we met was eventually he moved full time to the island I lived on and we went to a small HS together but still didn't meet until his last year, we were at a dance, and we saw eachother, no one asked eachother to dance we just saw eachother and started to dance. He said "my name is Todd." I said "I know." even though I didn't know his name, he just seemed like a Todd to me.
One evening when we were married, he worked a night shift, and I was sleeping, and I woke in the middle of the night hearing him say, "2 flat tires, I never saw that before!" I stayed up until he got home from work, and asked first thing, "Did you have a flat tire at work?" He looked at me kind of funny, and said "No, but we helped a lady who had 2 flat tires."
