I am having a very challenging time :(

I recently got into chicken keeping. I decided to go with mixed breeds and adult animals for now.

I swear I have developed every chicken ailment possible and plausible inside of a couple of
Months

two polish came with severe lice infestations. I’ve been treating with bronco fly spray and they seem to be in control.
One of my guineas has mites so bad her feet are swollen and she’s having a hard time walking. I treated with epsom salt baths and Vaseline a couple of times now but she’s so hard to catch and it’s impossible to have her in the house right now.
It looks like a couple of the other guineas have mites now, so I ordered some mite treatment and will treat everyone.

Now it looks like some of my laying hens have cecal worms!
is there an all flock treatment that I can use for multiple worms, mites, lice etc?

is there a treatment I can use on the coop and pasture to try and reduce worm load in the ground? I am so frustrated and overwhelmed.

:hugsI am sorry you’ve been dealing with all that with this being your first time owning chickens and other poultry. I would be overwhelmed too. I know someone on here will be able to answer your question.

I’ve never dealt with worms but I know it’s only a matter of time, hopefully not soon tho.

Looks like you're learning to take care of them so that's good. It takes time to learn and too much at once can overwhelm a person.

No not really. Ivermectin would be the closest thing but I don't think it works on cecal worms. It would be best to deworm separate. Safeguard or Valbazen is what you need for the worms.

If the mites are on the body, then permethrin is what you use on that. If you have scaly leg mites then something else is needed.

I don't know if you can change your thread title.....but.....

All flock is a type of feed and I know I did not even see this was in the emergencies section when I clicked it.

Maybe a title like "Lice, Mites, and Worms need help" will get the right folks answering.
Changed it! Thank you for the tip

I noticed that. Much clearer so the right folks can pop in knowing what to expect.

I edited my post up there. I know about the permethrin 10 to treat lice/mites.

I am not sure if there is a better way to deal with leg mites and haven't had to deal with worms so will leave those to the pros.
