parasite that makes vent feathers look "like q-tips"

Hi
I have some adults Reds who have clumpy, dirty vents. No other obvious signs of distress.But I read some tome ago (and didn't save link) that there is a mite or parasite that creates crust at feather at skin that creates look of a qtip.

Is this correct? The treatment was an idoine soak but I dont remember the amount of iodine.

You might be dealing with lice.
Could you post a few pictures of this butt area?
