Does this look like coccidia? The kids and I learned to do fecal floats yesterday but I’m not sure what we’ve found

Do I need to treat them? We’re new to chicken keeping. I homeschool and we just decided to do fecal floats yesterday

Yes, Heterakis egg. I don’t think treatment is necessary. They’re basically harmless worms unless you raise turkeys.

Thank you! It’s fun to learn new things. They do love our chickens. We just started getting eggs

Having chickens and turkeys together can be a bad thing for the turkeys, who don't do well at all with Heterakis. Look up the different parasite eggs you can find in fecals, so you know what you've found.
If Heterakis, you will need to treat the chickens and the turkeys, and possible house them separately in the future, so your turkeys can survive at your place.
Running fecals is the best!
