Parasites

Having chickens and turkeys together can be a bad thing for the turkeys, who don't do well at all with Heterakis. Look up the different parasite eggs you can find in fecals, so you know what you've found.
If Heterakis, you will need to treat the chickens and the turkeys, and possible house them separately in the future, so your turkeys can survive at your place.
Running fecals is the best!

Thank you! I think I might see if my vet will do a test and prescribe medication. Can any wormers be purchased without a script? I appreciate all of the help.

Absolutely! I just need to know the dosage. And how often
Do I need to discard the eggs?
Sorry I misunderstood.

Safe-Guard is given at .23ml per each pound the bird weighs.

Some people throw the eggs out for 2 weeks after the final dose.
Some people don't throw the eggs away at all.

Give one dose today (when ever you get it)
Then second dose ten days later... For the chickens.

The turkeys I am not sure.
@casportpony is it the same for them?
