So true! And thanks for saying that. I think sometimes Russian people (the ones I know at least) assume people will associate them with the politics of their home country. Many people do that. But everyone is their own person, separate from their government.

Very welcome. Without starting a political argument look at our nation. From the outside looking in we may be perceived as being extremely one way or another. However, if you were to actually sit down and talk to people you will find there are more similarities than differences.

Yes, the cathedrals are beautiful. St. Basil's Cathedral is the most well-known (most people have seen a photo of it) and I was lucky enough to go inside. I was surprised to see that the inside was even more beautiful than the outside. So much gold and just incredible architecture.

Absolutely agree with this. It's so unfortunate what a rifts are caused by such things. It's always worthwhile to keep your mind open to learning about people who are different from you!
