I personally think its horrible specially requesting 100% and threatening taking away your animals personally I would rather see my son being responsible getting fresh air and caring for animals then doing a lot of things that other kids do

I agree. And the OP says 10 of the other chickens as a trade for 1 silkie- nowhere does it say ALL of the other chickens.
Mom does know best, go ace that test! Then you get to keep the 10 and get the silkie!

I think your mom suspects you really COULD ace the Language Arts Test, and to get silkies, which you want very much, you would work VERY hard toward studying and preparing for the test. She also knows you want to keep your other chickens AND get silkies -- so she's using MOM psychology on you.

Psssttt.... Langauge arts -- WRITE an explanation for your teacher of what your mom's reward plan is, and ask her for help preparing for the quiz. Most teachers really WANT to help students learn, but they save their best efforts for the students that show them/let them know that they really want to. And, you can post your "written explanation/request" for the teacher here, and we'll all help you edit it and check the spelling, etc., etc....before you turn it in. And, if your teacher is REALLY cool, she'll count your written piece in place of your next quiz grade!!!!

i got a B on the test soo im happy im going to try to compromise cause my dad wants it
 
Maybe 2 A's in lieu of 1 100% score? As a parent I'd totally go for that kind of deal. Even 90% is an A.

Bribery is a great parenting tool/torture! ( Vlah ha ha ha!).
