Park Bird: SOLVED! Juvenile Greater White-Fronted Goose **PICS**

What is this gorgeous little Girl(?)?? She was at the park yesterday when i stopped by to visit and i cannot think of what she is! She looks like a teeny little goose or goose/duck thing, she's just adorable though.

(in the back of my mind i am thinking shes a duck...and the breed has escaped me!)

She was alone and looked full grown/fully feathered... are they so small? Does the bill surface grow farther back with age?

oh wow she is tiny! I have no clue what she is but I want one! Looks like a goose to me though, and looks fully feathered/grown to me too.

She is fully feathered with the juvenile plumage. She will get much larger and the feathers will change into another pattern.

I thought greater White-fronted geese had bright orange feet and beaks? Will they change as she matures?

I agree, it does look like a goose to me. Sometimes recently fledged juveniles are on the small side.
