Park duckling injured

Found this little guy on the edge of the water at the park, looks pretty bad. Bringing him to vet as soon as they open tomorrow. Planning on just rinsing out the wound and putting some neosporin, anything else that I could do to help and make sure he makes it to the morning??

Something yummy like bugs to perk him up. I've found just keeping them alert and stimulated is enough to get them through the night.

vitamin and electrolytes, vita-hen is the best in my opinion, but tractor supply sells some that you can get quickly

Thanks guys, I've had him set up in my bathtub with some nutri-drench water and a small dish of crumble with live mealworms, he seems to be good and active and doing well, I'll be setting my alarm early to bring him to the vet as soon as they open.

Okay crazy update. I brought him into a nearby sanctuary that helps water birds, they said it didn't seem too deep and he should be fine. After, I went back to the park to check on the remaining ducklings and what I found was disturbing. There were 4 male ducks just going crazy trying to mate the mom duck stacking on top of her. I went over and pushed them off, but she was in very bad shape. She had her wings out and just pushing herself along with her wings, barely moving at all. I picked her up, and while walking to my car with her I saw one of the other ducklings with something wrong with its legs barely able to walk, but didn't seem to be in very bad condition like the mom. I brought them both to the sanctuary, fingers crossed they will be okay

Omg - thankfully you went back and checked on them
I'm so glad to hear the first little one does have such a good prognosis
Hopefully the mother and the other baby will recover soon, too
