I'm building a chicken coop and wondering if it would be better to put t111 plywood up or just use tin all the way around and roof. Just worried that it will be too hot in the summer months . Anybody have suggestions or been there done that Advice for me ? Not sure which way to go Althouh metal right now seems cheaper and would outlast the wood !

Welcome to BYC!

Don't go with tin all the way around. I did that on one of my quail aviaries and it was an oven in there! The metal heats up and radiates huge heat! So stick with the T 111. Much cooler and more stable in temps.

Good luck with your build and welcome to our flock!
