Hello, all.

I'm new here, like many others. However, I've resourced this website many times in the past, looking for answers to various chicken-related questions, and have found some very useful information. I'm glad to be a part of the community here.

I currently have a flock of about 60 adult birds and...many chicks and juveniles. Next year, I endeavor to start breeding certain breeds per the Standard of Perfection, and others for fun. There's so much to be learned, and I look forward to it all!

Hi and welcome to BYC! I love the variety of feather colors in your "barnyard mix" (Easter Eggers?) photos. There are many knowledgeable and helpful members here; glad you are now a member too. What breeds do you intend to focus on, as far as breeding to the SOP? Have fun on your chicken journey!
