I have 16 purebred eggs coming tomorrow, I am trying to figure out how to load my incubator. It holds 42 with the Turner.

I have a little giant with a turner. Should I take a couple of the Turner bars out and add a bottle of water?

Do I load the eggs into the middle of the incubator?

I want to give them the best chance to hatch, I paid good money for the eggs.

It likely will be best to load in the middle and move each one to a different spot when you candle so they aren't always in the same spot. If you have some good, accurate thermometers, particularly those you don't have to remove the lid to read, you should set the thermometers in various places inside the incubator to see what the temperature variation is among the different areas of the incubator, ideally before you put the eggs in, so if you have the thermometers, turn it on now and let it warm up and then start locating hot spots and cool spots. The one I've been using this year is made by Govee, I have three and I love them:
