Partially impacted crop?

I have a 15 month old Caramel Queen hen who I think might have a partially impacted crop. She has been drinking noticeably more water for the last 5-6 days and has watery green poops (pic attached). I realized 2-3 days ago that her crop was still visible and felt slightly hard and rounded in the morning. She's still eating but I'm not certain how much, and pooping pretty regularly.

I tried giving her some coconut oil and massaging her crop on Monday but didn't notice any improvement. I'm wondering if this is better to do in the morning or evening? Also wondering if I need to isolate and stop water and food if she's only partially impacted? Or if there could be something else wrong?

I did a big coop clean last weekend and noticed some of the hens have been eating the fresh pine shavings bedding and wonder if this is what she's got stuck. Our flock of 10 are fenced but have free run of our orchard in addition to the run around the coop - which is muddy right now as we've had a lot of rain the last few days.

Any advice is much appreciated!

There's always a possibility there's something else going on.

Giving coconut oil once is not usually going to clear up a blockage. Give it 2-3 times a day with massage. If it doesn't clear after a few days of that, then give a stool softener.
Crop issues can be difficult to remedy sometimes and it may take a while so persistence is key.
Read this article and get back with us how the treatment is going.

I found that article a few days ago and it was my hen's thirst and watery poops and slightly full crop in the morning that led me to the potential impacted crop diagnosis.

I am wondering if there is another issue. I did another treatment yesterday and her crop felt pretty flat this morning, still a very small bump. Appetite is good and I think her poops are still watery but need to steal some time away from work to have a good watch of the whole flock to see if others are having stool issues too - which would definitely indicate another problem.

I will provide an update!

My hen's crop was totally flat this morning, but stools are still watery. She's at the very tail end of a molt so I don't know if that might be factoring in. Her crop is not really full by the end of the day so I'm not sure she's eating a lot but she's active and appears healthy otherwise.

I gave her some yoghurt yesterday and will continue to monitor, try some ACV/vitamins and consider a fecal test if things don't improve.

Glad to hear the crop was empty.

Poop ran be watery depending on what she's eating and how much water she's drinking.
Birds that are in molt often do you not eat that much, but I would still watch to see that she's eating something.
