Here they are at 6 1/2 weeks.

I'm wondering if anyone can help with sexing at this age. Combs don't help! The last chick above has an odd feather condition (as does one of the Welsumers in the same brood). I've posted some pictures of the odd feather in another forum [link will be inserted shortly] but no one has suggested what it might be.

Hi Tim, what pretty babies you have! LOL I was looking at another Chant thread and found your link. I don't know what that odd feather thing is all about. I still can't sex my chicks and they are half grown!

I have some eggs in the 'bator from CaroleAM...due to hatch next Thursday. She sent me 13 eggs, and I've got 11 beautiful eggs still developing!

Seeing these gorgeous chicks has REALLY got me excited for my hatch!
