Partridge chick from pure black silkie pair??

I clearly didn't get two pure blacks!!! Now my dilemma is what to do with them. I wanted to breed pure blacks, not splits as well as BBS. I am interested to see what they look like when older. The roo has very nice type. It's funny that the black chicks have very little foot feathering but the other colors have decent to good feathering. Can feathering be color linked?

I don;t believe it is.

Okay, the linkage table I looked at list Pti as the only gene on micro-chromosome 13. But there are three separate Pti genes: Pti-1, Pti-2 and pti-3. The linkage table did not list which Pti gene, and the other two were not included.
