Hi everyone, I have a buff roo and hen together and a white roo and hen all in the same enclosure. I only ever see my buffs together and whites together tho. Anyway both hens went broody together and so I gave them 6 eggs all together from each of them. 4 have hatched obviously very white besides one that has black spots but the others from my buff are partridge? Am I mistaken and actually have a partridge silkie? It’s the only thing I can think of. What do y’all think? I’ll add pics of the chickens and chicks. I’m relatively new to silkies and how their genetics work!

With silkies, it’s hard to tell, since they’re often not bred pure for color. The buff silkies could be mixed with partridge, or one of the white silkies could have partridge under their recessive white.
