Partridge Olive Eggers

She’s beautiful! I hope mine turns out like her. All three of my Olive eggers look differently. So exciting!!
Thanks! Yes your little cuties all look so different from each other. You will likely get all different shades of green eggs from them! :)

They might be tight lip about it but they can't scape they cunning eye of someone with enough knowledge about genetics, from the chick down and the grown birds picture You can tell it's the cross of Welsummer rooster with Crean legbar hens, the cross is sex linked
Oh nice. Are you familiar with this breed? I have Welsummers actually and the one chick very much looks like them when they were babies. The other looks more like a cream legbar so that would make sense. Hoping they’ll be a nice breed and may a lovely egg. They’re super cute so far. Thanks for the info!

Please share pics of your ameraucana BCM mix. Do they look anything like the Olive eggers babies I showed below?
If I can remember to take photos, I have a 7 month old blue copper Maran and blue Americauna mix, and a blue copper Maran and legbar mix. The Maran and Americauna mix is stunning. They are shy though so harder to photograph!

I did not know this! I wondered what FI, F2 meant. So the Olive eggers will most likely be darker green then the partridge F1’s? Hopefully They do lay some sort of shade of green! We shall see. They’re just little cutie puff balls right now!! I adore them. Here are some pics of the Olive eggers! Sweet pea, Olive, and Mitzy!
Of h my gosh those little babies are so cute. I love cheek muffs on babies ❤️

Also pretty! I have a blue with blackish around her neck and she lays quite a bit of a darker egg then the others. I always thought she had a little Maran In her. She doesn’t have feathery feet though but could be a mix of some kind.

She’s so pretty!! I don’t know how dominate feathered feet are 🤔 I have read not all Marans have feathered feet but all the ones I’ve seen so far do have feathered feet.
