That would be interesting to know. Because only one of my little Olive eggers babies has feathered feet and the other two are blue/black coloring with no feathers. So does that mean they do not have Maran in them? I have another blue production hen with copper leakage around her neck. She lays a little bit lighter egg but is also so beautiful. I’m getting very curious about genetics. I might have to hatch my own babies next spring.She’s so pretty!! I don’t know how dominate feathered feet areI have read not all Marans have feathered feet but all the ones I’ve seen so far do have feathered feet.
