I was hoping to find someone near me that has some. Is yours a good layer? Are the eggs extra dark and large?

Okay, in that case I will continue to suggest them to you. Mine are/were reasonable layers- (I wouldn't rate them as wonderful layers, but personally better than Sussex's). Their eggs tend to be on the darked, "cubbier" side.
So their eggs are great and rich, but they aren't the most consitant of layers.
