Hi everyone! I got 3 silkies from Ideal poultry and I’m not sure on what color this little one is. I’m thinking partridge, but I don’t know much about silkie colors. I made a thread a while back about this, but don’t want to go find it. 😂 I appreciate any help!
I can get more pictures if I need to.

I dunno, I don't specialize in silkies, sorry.

With other genes involved, that means it’s a mixed color.
With silkies, alot of the times, especially with partridge, the chicks will either have, or lack any partridge pattern.

Partridge Silkies, chick down can vary like this: Stripey Partridge Pattern, Solid yellow, yellow with some markings, Brown, or pure black.

My sister's partridge silkie rooster was a pure black chick.

Even if the chick is pure for partridge, it also has other genes, causing the excessive buff coloring. Meaning that it would not match the standard’s definition of partridge, making it a mixed color.
