Partridge silkie ???? hope I got it posted in the right area

Got she/he from a friend wasn't sure if its partridge.

Can't tell from that pic. Got a pic of it's back? A Partridge will have very distinct "chipmunk" stripes. Also, a pic of legs and feet will be helpful. Are the legs black? Does it have 5 toes on each foot? Does it have feathering on it's shanks and toes?

darnit nope she doesn't have stripes like a chipmunk

yep she's got five toes and feathered legs. Let me see if I can get a better picture of she/he ?? I'm hoping its a pullet. and legs are black

hard to say. However not all partridge chicks will have a distinctive chipmunk stripe, they usually do, but not always. This chick is really light though, it may turn out a blue partridge...what color silkies does the person you got eggs from have?


whoops we posted a same time. I think that chick will definately have a partridge type pattern.

she has white, buff , blue splash . black silkies oh and looks like partridge too.
