You can use the pink hair tape to tie up their crests so they can see. I use this on almost all of my girls and definitely on the girls in the show pen. I call them my Silkie Ninjas!

That's funny! What is "pink hair tape" and where do you get it?

It is that tape that is used by beauticians that isn't super sticky, almost a paper consistency. I purchased it at Sally's Beauty Supply. It holds their crests up and doesn't pull out feathers when you undo them. Kool stuff!

Haha how cute. I'll have to get some. I cut so much of its hair off it now looks like a peacock! I won't be showing with her, too much effort with quarantining. I just want to breed with her once she is old enough.

I know nothing about showing - I only know what I LIKE & Partridge boys are awesome! He looks like he has nice feathered feet and beautiful back. His head feathers look a bit sparse but it could be the angle of the camera shot. I miss my boy!
