Yep, all bathed and no mites (well one girl had about 3 so she got extra treatment)
they absolutely STUNK so we had to have bath time. They are doing really well and LOVE their watermelon
They are in quarantine for another 3 weeks so my DH built them a temporary run that they get to use during the day while I am at work. I use a small dog carrier to ferry them between the house and the pen and last night I was waiting (ever so patiently) for them to load themselves in the carrier so I decided to sit on the carrier while I waited. The little cuties all decided to come and "wait with me" so they proceeded to hop up ON the carrier and start roosting. It was so sweet
thanks everyone!!
You have fuzzy friends for life... Don't you just love it?
Heck yeah I do! They were replacements for the 3 silkie roos we had to rehome
and I was a bit perterbed with DH since he wanted to replace the ONE roo that was his, so we have to go and get THREE more. But they are so small they really just count as one
I really hope they fit in with the other girls when it comes time. I am also happy for my Lola who was the sole remaining Silkie as the other two roos that were rehomed were her brothers
Now she will have someone to cuddle up with at night since she isn't a big roost-lover and sleeps on the floor.
