Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Pics
Years ago, my family was going up to the lake and a car in front of us hit a baby goose. Of course, we stopped and picked it up and turned around and went back home. I took the goose to a wildlife refuge and hospital. They took the goose and called me about 4 hours later and said that the hip was broken. They said that they had to put it down because there is no way of stablizing it and keeping it quiet. So, that's my experience with it. I hope you can find a way, but short of putting it in a body cast of sorts I don't know how you would do it. And then the problem would be how it would eat and drink. But, if it's dislocated, you would have to find a way of snapping it back in place first.
I wish you luck and maybe someone will come on with a better idea. I will keep my fingers crossed. I know others will most likely check in later and I certainly hope someone has an idea.

Google chicken sling here on BYC. How much time you want to put into rehab is the real thing.

Oh my god, you are awesome!!! I knew someone would come up with an alternative so you have a choice. Thank you Majestic!!!

We're home! What happened? We went to pick up a pair of Partridge Silkies and came home with the pair, a little baby and plus 1, that's 4. Chicken math.

We are so thrilled, these are the sweetest little things. I initially put the baby in a separate carrier, but when we got home thought I'd try her in with the rest, and they haven't been the least bit mean to her. And oh! they all smelled so good, freshly bathed and ready for their new home. Couldn't be happier.

Thank you so much Sonoran Silkies! Chloe and I had a wonderful time looking at all your pens and your lovely sweet chickens. If we could have taken more we would have!

We spent the drive home picking out names for them all. So here they are...not my best photography, but wanted to get them up quickly! They will be living in the house for the next little while and then we will move them into the coop with the rest of the flock.

Angelina: Check out that crazy eyeliner! Suze, is this one a Partridge too, I can't remember!

Heres another one of my young Partridge Silkies, This one didnt look any darker than the other babies but now is coming in black. You can see that its a Partridge around its face...if I had to guess I would say this is a boy!

This one I believe is also a boy but not sure. The color is getting brighter every day.

Don't know about the top 1. It very well could be a girl. It going to change color another 100 times before it reaches adulthood. I also see some partridge on it's wings.
Second one - I'm saying boy because of how bright it is.
Third one - I'm still saying boy, but I could very well be wrong. The more I look at it, it could be a girl..
I thought I had it down pat with telling sexes this year - but I was wrong 7 times!!!! I had never been wrong before so this year I am making up for lost time.
