I got mine from Nature Berry Farms it's about 25min drive, I live in the city and this is out in the country.

So at 5 months old one of my silkies layed her first egg along with two from my Barred Rock. Of course the silkie layed on the floor and the Barred Rock in the nest box. gotta get some golf balls.

Actually my little guys name is Party Boy! LOL He sounds like one of those party horns that you blow on at new years(that is how he got his name).

After looking at his picture up close he is a lot darker than these boys.. he is very handsome as well

That is too funny, sometimes their early crows are hilarious... and one of mine as an adult sounds "rusty"

5 months is young for a silkie!!! What a cute little egg!!!
