Because you guys have such excellent quality chickens!!!! Every time you all post pictures I just drool.

I've looked all over the for sale threads and ebay now I have come to the home thread seeking admittance.

Someone please tell me they would be willing to sell me 6-7 partridge silkie eggs.

They are Gorgeous! And I can't wait to start raising them.
I have had more trouble getting my hands on these eggs than I would like to admit to.
I've been bidding on eggs on eBay but someone always snipes them or brings the bid up way out of my price range, I miss them by minuets in swap threads and no hatchery sells them
These should be on the rare chicken lists.

Hatcheries sell them, but they are hatchery birds (NOT SQ - not even close..) and most of them are only available in the "mixed" silkies. I know too - I have been drooling over them for a year or more now.

I think they are rare - and even rarer are the red colored partridges. Brown Chicka Brown Cow's Rooster looks like the rooster in the pair I recently spent 8 hours of driving time to pickup over here - so I understand why you really want those eggs. After all - I claimed them too

Lol it turns out it was brown chicka brown cows eggs is was bidding on, in eBay.
Seems she is the be all end all of this breed. Lol.

Oh I still don't have any eggs but at least now I won't bug the same person twice in two diffirent mediums.
