Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

My frizzle feathered partridge silkie sitting on 3 eggs.i always let her sit on at least a couple cause other wise shel sit in there on nothing so it might as well be for a reason...lol

What a cutie! I know she has a face somewhere in there!

I'm zoned for only a max of 5 hens and no roos. So I don't have the luxury of having extra hatched chicks running around. There's just too much bother finding new homes for unwanted poultry. Instead, I let my Silkies sit on an empty nest for however long it takes for them to get it out of their system - sometimes a few days to a couple/three weeks. But I make sure to take them out of the nest a couple times daily to eat/drink/dust-bathe/exercise before hurrying back to their "empty" nest. Sometimes they "share" an empty nest!
