She does look to be silkied, in which case is recessive. So breed her to a partridge wyandotte, then bred a son back to her or sibling together and you will produce more silkied wyandottes. The silkied gene is showing up in more and more breed of chickens...Cochins, Serama, Ameraucana, Japanese and maybe others. Good luck with her !

I recently got a rescue hatchery chick,unsure of gender yet,but it is a white silkie coated bantam cochin. First generation what would be the best color / breed/feather type to breed to as to continue to try to breed for more silkie coated cochins next year for a hobby project?
