Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Boy, that's anybodies guess without knowing a little bit on the background. That is a very interesting colored Silkie. He's definitely not to standard on color, but is really truly COOL looking. I keep going back to look at him. He is completely off colored but amazing!!! I love him. He's almost more salmon than partridge.

He is gorgeous, isn't he? I really like his coloring too!

Hey,
I am looking for a Partridge roo for my son to show for 4H and state fair. Can anyone help us out ? He has a real nice show girl pullet from a Byc member.
Thanks,Jason

Mine is around the same age too (I think actually maybe 7 weeks for mine though) But they are similar. Though mine has a fluffier tail and a little bit darker under colour. This one is mine:

Heres him with Sammy who is supposed to be the same age but I dunno "she" looks a lot smaller (though blurry in this picture) You can see the fluffer butt tail a little better here

Could it be blue partridge?

What to see how it matures. Since there is no standard for blue partridge anything is possible, but they should have started out with the chipmunk stripes. It could turn out to be absolutely gorgeous.. And they are Silkies so you will love it no matter what.

True, there is no standard, BUT, it should simply be that all black feather pigment is diluted to blue as in all other blue patterns.

Thank you. I appreciate this info. I believe it's a pullet as "she" has lots of pencilling. I'll post again in a few weeks. I love the blue partridges I have seen pictures of. Can they be shown in AOV?

One pf my chocolate partridge project birds:

I do have ones that are silkied, but not as recent photos. This guy just wanted to show off yesterday, and I absolutely adore his colouring.
