Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

I saw some red partridge pics. Could he be that?

Red partridge is not a standard color. Your boy couldn't be shown as partridge - he doesn't have any penciling in his hackles (neck), and he is way too red. "ginger partridge" or "red partridge" is a name for bad colored partridge boys that are too red.

This is more closely to what a partridge rooster should look like :

Just curious; is my Partridge Silkie rooster good enough quality to show? Sorry if the pictures don't do him any justice. He really is a nice looking bird, more so in person. Just kind of a jerk...

He's grown a teensy bit since I've taken these pictures. It's his birthday today too, so he's officially a rooster instead of a cockerel! :3

I think you'd classify this guy AOV - Non-Bearded blue partridge.

I would not call him a show-able rooster :( - main problem I see with this guy is his comb and waddle color are too red. His crest is smaller than most show males as well and his tail has too many hard feathers.

I think he is a gorgeous fellow though, love the blue partridge.

Here's an updated picture of my grey/silver partidge, bigfoot

Do you think she will be able to be shown as a grey(is her crest large enough, ect.)?

He is Buff? He has partridge colored wing feathers, and I bought him from a batch of partridge chicks...all the rest have the partridge colors... The one on the right is my buff hen, ginger, that I bought before the 4 partridge. He is next to Ginger. He is much darker than she is.

No, he is RED. Red and buff are not the same thing any more than black and blue are; in both cases, the second mentioned variety (buff & blue) are dilutions.

Oh I didn't know that there was a difference between red and buff. So red is an acceptable color for silkies?

Define "acceptable." Red is a recognized colour, but not for silkies. Nevertheless, if you show him, that is the variety you should list. The highest he will be able to place is Best of Variety or Best AOV.
