Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Hi, I'm a newbie here and to chickens in general, and stumbled upon my (maybe?) partridge silkies - by accident. I guess I love this color, since my beloved fuzzy and cuddly lion-headed rabbit (mix) is the exact same choc/blk and gold combo as this fuzzy rooster - they could be 'litter-mates' lol! The hen is blue, I think - I'll try to get photos when the rain stops.

- Oh, my avatar pic is the roo - - he is just a craigslist pet, but to me he's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen! Got him and the hen together.

So glad I found this thread -

Separated at birth? I must be drawn to this color. Frankie my embarrassingly sweet and adorable lion-headed rabbit and my new (and very first) chickens Emu (roo) and Emma - nearly as sweet and just as adorable! I was so lucky to end up with this color by accident - Love it. Is he a true partridge? I know he's not show quality but I don't think could them them any more if he was! equally -

That's an adorable bunny! They really do look alike!

Thanks, Frankie is great, so people-oriented, gentle and affectionate. Emma is very sweet too - Emu is a little less sure of things (but he's very gentle, too, which is good since he's my first roo !)

You should just stick the bunny in the same cage as the two patridges when you show them... and don't mention the bunny at all hehehehe
