I recently heard about partridge Brahmas and figured I need them... OK really want.
After all why not we already have dark, buff, and light ?

So I wondered couldn't I breed it from what I have?? (I also have partridge rocks).
I am relatively new to the breeding part of things ( we just got the coop into sections for breeds tonight major excitement

) So what combo should I do? I know I could buy them but thought it would be fun to try and breed instead. I am aware it will probably take about 6 years but hey I got time.

I would appreciate Any pics of this breed.

Maybe someone else will chime in but here is what I did when I tried to work with them. First mate a partridge rock rooster to dark brahma hens which will give you a sexlink, females partridge and males bad dark brahmas with gold leaking through. I only got first generation, lol. I am thinking maybe mate those F1's together and get some partridge and some not partridge. If you get a partridge looking male mate it back to a dark brahma hen and get the sexlink again. By then they should be looking more brahma.

I know there is a way you can do it with dark and buff brahmas and end up with buff partridge but I am not sure.

Also after thinking about it these are the other breeds I have.
Buff orphington, white orphington, specked Sussex, golden penciled hamburg, silver phoenix, And a red variegated naked neck.

Also I would be interested in any onfo on regaining the cushion comb.

What if you use a partridge cochin? They don't have the best leg feathering anyway- you'd have to work on the comb. I got some partridge cochin hens recently that are juveniles. They look like they're 1/2 brahma, 1/2 cochin.

Hmm my neighbor has Cochins I wonder if she has partridge.....
not a bad idea.

By the way I can't help saying I love the pic of your animal is it an alpaca? I can't seem to get an avatar.

That is another idea, you could use the cochins, much easier. You know if you knew how to do it right you could get away with using partridge cochins, dark cornish, and brahma. The cochin x cornish would give some thing that would look like a partridge brahma, it would have the right comb, feathered feet, and maybe a dewlap if you found the right ones then take the best ones and mate to a dark brahma or even a buff brahma to get better type.
