Good morning! I have 3 cochin chicks with VERY fluffy behinds. Their bottoms are so fluffy it's hard to find their vents when doing my morning bootie check. I've been finding that poo gets trapped in all of this fluff and starts to build up if I don't check their bottoms a few times a day. They're healthy, and the brooder is at a great temp for them, so I don't think they're pating becuase of a chill I think it's just becuase they're too fluffy. How can I fix this problem?

Thanks for you help!!

After the cleanup, apply some baby oil or olive oil to the vent area. It seems to help it from resticking.
