Hi I’m still new at this but I got my first batch of eggs yesterday after collecting I moved the coop to new ground in the afternoon. Today there is no eggs I was wornding if the move to new ground was too stressful for them even thow it was only 3 feet or if it was the fact I did it in the afternoon instead of at night? Pleas give advice

Their laying will be spotty until they fully settle in, so they might skip a day or two before you get another egg. And this might continue for a couple of weeks.

I don't have experience with tractors but I wouldn't think it's an issue to move it in afternoon vs night?

How long have you had the birds?
Did the lay daily before you moved the tractor?
Are they confined to tractor or do they free range?

Yes they where laying befor I moved them but it was the first time laying for me sens i got them I have had them for five days. The don’t free range cause of predetors.

They may still be settling in, give them time to see what their pattern is, not all birds lay every day.
Not sure if when you move tractor is an issue.
