Pasty Butt in older chicks?

Chicks are about 4 weeks old now and are at the point where they can reach their own vent. Does this mean they’re good to clean their own bums or should I still be checking them for pasty butt? They’ve been good for the past few weeks, and I’ve just been trying to be attentive.

At this stage, they shouldn’t have any pasty butts “syndrome”. Normally their first week is the most common time afterwards they should be good.

Ha ha ha! For sure, I’ve had very very rare case of “PB” but it sure is a pain for couple of days.
