Pasty Butt??

Add ACV with the mother to the water Apple cider vinegar with the mother has good probiotics and can even help with loose poop .
I have Braggs ACV with mother so I can try that. I currently have their water in a 6-inch square, 2-inch deep Tupperware-type container with marbles and rocks that I clean and refill multiple times each day. How much ACV/gallon of water?

I have nothing more to add, as everyone's suggestions are great. I'll just say that I had one chick who had pasty butt for almost two weeks. She's now my lap chicken as I had to handle her the most out of all the other chickens. We've been through a lot together :)
Aww, I would love for that to be our outcome too. Thanks!

What are the electrolytes that are suggested for the water and where do I get them? I think I've seen Pedialtye mentioned somewhere, and I have the powdered version in fruit flavors, but assume you need plain? Our Tractor Supply has nothing like electrolytes for chickens. Any advice appreciated!

Sav-a-chick is one brand, I'm sure there's others.

Doesn't sound like your pasty butt is too bad so you can probably manage it with a watchful eye and an occasional warm water soak/wipe.

Thank you for all your responses! I managed to find the electrolytes. After 1 dose I have 3 chicks with clean butts! I figure I’ll dose every other day for a week then once a week, then keep an eye on them. It sure was nice seeing those fluffy butts!
