Pasty rear HELP!!!!!

My hen Snowball has white poo all around her rear end. She has been like this for at least 5 or 6 months. She runs around and eats like the rest of the flock.when she stays locked up its not near as bad. All my chickens free range all the time.i wash her bottom every day.Sometimes twice.Is there anything I can do?????

pour some water down her beak may help.

I have only had that happen to chicks, it is from stress, or illness. Give her some lactobacillus, from the ranch store, or where you buy your chicken food. It also has electrolytes and vitamins, it should clean up her "pasty butt".

She drinks on her own like a normal bird.

Snowball is almost a year and a half old.Sometimes she lays soft eggs . This all started after she was eggbound.
