Pattern on eggshell: what is it?

Right. I was hoping it was just due to their immaturity. I do subscribe to the Chicken Chick. LOVE her! But hadn't seen this particular issue. Weird as it's almost like a stamp on the shell...same each time.

It will correct in time...one side is sort of flat? Or the tip is pointy, or soft?
