Patterned Behavior in Egglaying

My two layers start off laying by ten am day one day two the lay by twelve day three they lay by two and day four the skip day five is like day one and so forth. My husband say i pay to much attention to their laying cycle since i know what time and day. Another hen has started laying and she lays one the days the other two dont lay from what i have seen.

Maybe your hen is laying elsewhere when the two layers you initially mention are using the nest boxes

Possible i looked everywhere so either she got a great hiding spot, or she just not laying very well yet. There are three nesting boxes two use the same box she uses a different one.

Interesting. I have three hens that began laying at 5.5 months old and they have laid every day since. Either she is just getting her egg producing system sorted out or she is being a bit crafty with her laying.
