So I've recently came across many post on sexing Americana chicks by their feather patterns. They said if their feather pattern is the same throughout their body then pullet, if it's splotchy and many different colors in the pattern then it would be a rooster. I know it may be too early to tell it's gender but it's been killing me to find out lol!! He/she is 4 weeks old, but has mainly the same feather pattern all down it's body and it looks to me only a single line of comb instead of the three bumps?? Note the comb does look a tad bit redder in person. Thank you!
