I have been keeping chickens most of my life, also geese, ducks and Turkeys. Now retired and slightly downsized in size of land I was not going to keep chickens any more, you no what, I could not live without them . So recently my eldest daughter decided to get chickens my youngest has kept chickens for some years. I now have a decent size run and a good size shed. Have just 3 birds. I bought them at 6 weeks old hoping there hens but two of them I think now are cock birds they are about 12 weeks old. I have a New Hampshire, Rhode Island and a White Leghorn lovely birds, just hope I am wrong about the cock birds.
