Pavers around outside of coop?

We have put pavers all around the outside of our coop. The are 8 inches wide. Do you think that is wide enough to avoid predators who dig? I have had a hard time finding more info about this.

I would not trust the pavers alone. I would still put down an apron of either hardware cloth or 1x1 welded wire.

I have 12 x 12 pavers around my run/coop but also have wire buried..
