Paw Drinking Cats?

Quote:
When I had a fish tank we had to regularly add water because it was all the cats would drink. And they fell in more than once, too. And got fish bit a coiuple of times too.

The cats also love to drink out of the plant saucers after the water goes through all that dirt. The water is the color of strong tea, and they drink it with more enthusiasm than I show with actual tea!

I think they just like 'flavored' water, and their idea of flavors is much different then ours. Which makes sense, when you think of the things they taste each day... (imagining the feline self-inflicted bath)

I have a cat we rescued from a school a few years back. She puts her paw in the fish tank to get her fish-flavored water, but she drinks out of her bowl too. I knew she couldn't be the only one!

I don't have one that uses their paws, but when I was little, the cat was eating left over chicken noodle soup in a cat way. I was young, so went up to the cat, and pretended to eat the left over noodles with a scooping motion with my hand. She looked at me, and dipped her paw right in and started eating noodles off her claws. After doing it twice in a row, shook off her paw, looked at me like I was stupid, and continued to eat in the cat way.
