"Im sorry i ran into you" he wimpered

Sparkle looked at him. "I-I'm going, d-don't worry," she stammered. She was so scared that she began limping towards Kate on three legs. (There was actually a stray dog a few months ago that my neighbor caught but before he caught her she would walk up to his house on three legs, the fourth one sort of in the air.)

"Please dont be scared of me" he nearly wailed he lay down and covered his face with his paws

"B-but I thought you hated p-pets," she said, looking at him.

"Thats just my parents" he whined "I dont want to be a stray, I dont want to have to wonder where my next meal will come from or if it will be a week from my last one"

Sparkle lifted her ears, looking at him. She blinked. "Really?" she asked in amazement.

"Oh," she said, looking at her paws. "I'm Sparkle," she mumbled, glancing up at him.
