(Well, I am going to hop back in this RP, since I am coming out of my STC RP shell. XD)

Jack lumbered along an alley, towards the house he and Cinder lived in. The old, abandoned place offered much protection, but food had become scarce and the dogcatchers were thick in the streets. Life was dangerous and cruel; only the strong survived. His scornful gaze swept the alley as though he expected it to wither beneath his sharp eyes. Finally, with a grumble of complaint, he entered the shack, wondering if Cinder was there.

Cinder was dozing off peaceful on the red armchair.

Jack loped up to her and proded her with his wet, cold nose. "Hey, get up! The day's wasting and there's no food to be seen nearby, whuch is why we're gonna have ta expand our searching range!" he barked, though he couldn't resist a small, small smile.

(omigosh, a TON of stuff is going on. Let's see, we just finished learning who Mystery is and why Teal wants to kill him, now we're trying to figure out who Wren is, where she came from, and what exactly the beast is that raised her, and why she has a hawk for a dad. And then there's a plot in the making for Minty (Pipd's character) and Raven (my character) and I am thinking of bringing Cyan in to create chaos. Oh, and Coal just found Flora, a blind she-dog with a sad backstory and a mystery on her. So, yeah, a heck of a lot is happening. XD

Hey, has Jack changed any in personality since I last RPed him? XD I have no idea if he has or not. Oh, and, my "literature skills" are like child play compared to Pipdzipdnreadytogo's writing. OMG, that gal has some of the BEST writing in history! But thanks for the comment. Means a lot, considering I am definitely trying to improve.)

Cinder rolled over not wanting to get up then opened her eyes looking at Jack, she rolled over on her back (which I'm pretty sure is a sign of trust since the stomach is a fatal spot so if they didn't trust that person/animal it could easily kill them.) "I wanna chase a squirrel or something... Ohh! You wanna know what I saw the other day!? A white squirrel! (Albino) Do you think it has magical powers!?"
